Why I chose pharmacy field?
Hmm... *thinking* Okay. My dad. He was the one who searched for this and that university. He wants me to be in this field. Suitable for a girl. No objection since I’m okay with anything except for medical course.. Blood.. Blood.. Blood.. *faints. At that time I just finished with my PLKN, still playing around, enjoying the freedom, free from school activities and stuffs. Childish and spoiled.. Sigh.. But I did ask my dad, how if I take this course or that course? I’m interested in graphics and multimedia, but I know he won’t let me into that field. I have many interests, especially languages and drawing – the Japanese comics called manga.
But I think pharmacy is quiet interesting. The generic drugs’ names are weird. I love them, but when it comes to other subjects such as Biochemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, Organic Chemistry, Microbiology etc, oh my goodness.. At first, I was wondering, why the diploma for pharmacy is written as diploma for assistant pharmacy. Now I know. R.Ph is after taking BPH. As I learn the basic of pharmacy, oh geezel weezel, this is one of the toughest course ever! But... No regret. I still want to continue this course no matter what it takes. Because I hate regretting for what I’ve chose. I believe that I can still do it. All I have to do is to stop myself from playing around too much and work harder.
Pharmacy field deals with drugs, drugs and drugs. That is all I know. I can go for clinical pharmacy – quarelling with the doctors, specialists etc. Or maybe manufacturing – working alone?.. Another choice, working as a retail pharmacist – with a greater income, i can consult my patients, but with more risks. I have to take care of my ‘shop’. Bad people are everywhere.. -_-“
Basically, I chose this field because my dad asked me to take this course and then I found out that this course is interesting. Another reason, this field does not really deals with the patients, except that if I work in a retail pharmacy.
The things I like studying in MSU School of Pharmacy?
Do friends count as things? Erm, I’ll make this one shorter, in a list form.
..Friends – they help me a lot, and yes, they are friendly. And loud :)
..Lecturers – not close with any of them, but I know they’re nice.
..Lectures – It is unique that we don’t have to go to the campus everyday for lectures, except for the lab session.
It’s damn crowded in there :P
